We are pleased to have Dr Holger Moch as our invited expert pathologist this year for our inaugural kidney tumour pathology masterclass!

Dr Holger Moch is the Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the University Hospital Zurich. He is board certified in Pathology and Molecular Pathology. His areas of focus are on diagnostic tests for targeted therapeutics and the evaluation of novel molecular technologies in surgical pathology. He founded a joint Competence Center for Personalized Medicine (CC-PM) at the University Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) in 2014 and serves as CC-PM Co-Director. His work is described in more than 400 peer-reviewed papers and he is a volume editor of the 2016 WHO “blue book” – The World Health Organization Classification of Tumours of the Urinary System and Male Genital Organs. He is a member of the German National Academy of Science Leopoldina and the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences.
